iRise Model school Network is an affordable nursery and primary private school that is located in a populated residential and emerging community in Okofilling, Igando, Alimosho Local Government of Lagos State, Nigeria. We offer innovative and professional teaching services in a highly secured and conducive learning environment that comprises of Crèche, Pre-school, Nursery and Primary grades.

iRise Model School was founded by Funmi Ilori, an educational psychologist and SDGs ambassador. Funmi specializes as a consultant in human capacity building and she has continued to incorporate innovation and a blended learning approach in proffering tailor made solutions to educational problems for several private organisations. Funmi is also the founder of the foremost innovative mobile library for children in Nigeria known as 'iRead'. As soon as she built a static library for children in her community in 2016, she realised that many of the children could not read basic English. Funmi and her team of staff and youth corps members began to teach early literacy lessons with computer education to support the library users’ reading skills. Within 3 months, the children had recorded tremendous progress and this birthed her dream to innovate a low-cost nursery and primary school that would leverage on technology. The first year was used as a pilot to measure progress and impact. In 2017, iRise School opened to the public with an enrolment of 31 children.  Funmi has won many prestigious awards in the education sector both in Nigeria and abroad.
