'Reckons' - a term rightly coined by Dr. Enemuo Franklin, takes its bearing from an intense desire to stand out as a school to be reckoned with. The school “Reckons Academy” now christened “Reckons International Schools (RIS)” was established on 10th August, 2007 but was opened to the public on September of same year with 44 pupils. The school commenced at the temporary site with a few members of staff and little resources. Its beginning was a humble one that faced daunting challenges. At some point, it looked like things would not work out, but somehow through painstaking actions alongside motivated teaching, we pulled through. Our existence became evident, when the few pupils we had, made a name for the school by outshining their peers in other schools. The testimonies gave us a boost. Presently, the school has not only increased in size but has also gained for itself a permanent beautiful environment for learning. The founder of the school Dr.(Mrs) Enemuo Gloria, a great disciplinarian and a passionate educationist is bent on seeing nothing but the best. Her passion is contagious and it’s really paying off. Our mission is to provide equal access to quality education through the provision of conducive learning environment and highly effective tutelage focused on improving learner outcomes. Our vision is to empower learners, intellectually and ethically with relevant skills and high standards towards excellence.
