In Southfield Children Academy and College, we are committed to our mission statement: "To provide Access to Quality Education in all its ramifications..... Even to the less privileged" Our learning methodologies are holistic in nature, exposing our pupils and students to all forms of Important and relevant competitions ranging from STEAM to Creative writing, Creative Arts, Debates Costum festivals, SPELLING BEE, MATCH PAST, Core discipline, Morals, Rights of the girl child, Partnership with United Nations Information Center (UNIC), UNICEF, Balancing of Emotional intelligence with Intelligence Quotient, karate, Takweando, Skills acquisition and lots more , which in all we have bagged up the awards. In the just concluded Robofest 2020, Southfield came top in the Senior Schools category thereby the only school to fly the Nigerian flag to Michigan, U.S.A in the 2020 World Championship Competition. Still counting, the 2020 STEMite competition was also another opportunity to express our intellectual abilities with the construction of a Solar powered mobile Refrigerator to meet our community need. Our participation in the Bola Ahmed 60th Birthday creative writing and creative arts competition will not be left out. Presently, we offer admission into all arms of the school from Playgroup class to Ss3.

Southfield Children Academy and College is a vision accomplished of Mrs Chioma Ogonnaya Dawodu on the 2nd of December 2009. This is in answering a Devine call by the Almighty God to teach and train Children for Him. The school started at 29 Ebinpejo Street in Obanikoro Lagos before moving to it's present and permanent site.
