The school aims at correcting the prevalent ills in the educational system in Alagbado, its environs, Lagos and the nation as a whole. The school is to provide educational services that will assist to develop the cognitive, affective and psychomotor skills of the students. This explains why Garment Making, Home Economics, Creative and Visual Arts, ICT/Computer Science, Photography, Fisheries, GSM Repairs are emphasized in the college’s entrepreneurial curriculum

Golden Triangle College was established by Deaconness Adejumoke Adenike Yussuff supported by her husband Late Air Marshal Nureni O. Yussuff (Rtd). The college opened for academic activities on Monday, 10th September, 1999 with 10 students, seven (7) teaching staff and two (2) non-teaching staff. As at the time of opening this post-primary institution in September 1999, the proposed aim is to provide better educational opportunities for pupils of Golden Triangle Nursery and Primary Schools both within and outside Alagbado who are seeking admission into secondary school.
