The Honeyrock Academy a private preschool and primary through to class six was founded 2010 with only the crèche in operation. It was then called Honeyrock Daycare and Preschool and opened its doors in September with one infant. Gradually within the years, the then babies graduated through Toddlers class to Preschool and to primary school. At The HoneyRock Academy, learning starts from the first day the child sets foot on our grounds, and as we are committed to inspiring individual excellence, every child matters to us in achieving holistic learning. With over 10 years of operational excellence, we have graduated 6 sets from the Preschool into the Primary in the space of time we started the school and there has been remarkable testimonies from our Alumni and the schools they have been to. In the primary section we continued to add one grade per year to keep pace with our oldest students since it’s inception in 2016. Recently, we now run an inclusive school and have certified Therapists among our teachers. We intend to foster a school community that accommodates the uniqueness of our ably challenged pupils. THA offers rigorous, interdisciplinary academics, emphasizing activity-based, project-driven thematic learning. Our teachers are very qualified and accommodating to handle early years and primary curriculum that allows the child self-discovery. Our after school program majors on other forms of learning activities providing opportunities for our pupils to explore other areas of their gifting rather than focusing on the traditional learning style. Our facilities are child friendly and purposefully equipped to stimulate excitement in our pupils. We have a reputation for etiquette, discipline and good hygiene. We run our school on integrity and excellence through the wisdom of God as we inculcate morals and the fear of God in our pupils through the teaching of good Character. The Name we fondly call our pupils; Shinning Stars, is not just a title, but what we are actually poised to making of anyone that comes in contact with us.
