Winsford Nursary and Primary Schools is a school aimed at nurturing and training children in intellectual excellence with sound moral values and academic knowledge.

There is nothing more powerful than an idea.Everything humans have made or invented was first proceded by an idea. As a matter of fact, inventions are often callead ones brain child" in essence , the mind can be inpregneated by ideas that develop into concepts that becomes visions that produce reality. Towards this ends,vision is the source and hope of life inspired to establish a Nursery and Primaryschool with total commitment to providing qualitative education, on the 20th September ,1999 by the grace of God the great provider ,director and actualizer of vision .Winsford Nursery and Primary school was established with eleven (11) pupils five boys and girls.At the beginging the school started with the name Winners Academy Nursery and primary school but the name was dropped when at the time of undergoing Registration and approval progress we were told that only Government owned school institution can be named Academy.The name winsford was accepted for approval as private school. The idea to establish Winsford college was developed into a concept few years after winsford Nursary and primary school started.The concept developed into vision which came into reality on the 22nd september 2003, being not very comfortable seeing our pupils in primary six graduate to schools we were not sure of continuity of the academyic and moral excellence pursuit we were left with no choice than to establish Winsford Comprehensive College which by the grace of God Almighty has come as beacon of hope and light in Post primary Education inour Local Government , state and the nations. It is a sure foundation to every child who wants to be a winner in academic and moral excellence which is the key to life success. Vision and Misson statement of Winsford Group of Schools is the same but the motto of Winsford Comprehensive college is wisdom,knowledge and Understanding while the Primary school is Basic and Best.It is founded on Christ the solid Rock which cannot fail;it is established. It is established also on the fear of the Lord which is the beginging of wisdom with the spirit to serve all classes of mankind honestly ,dilignet ,commitedly and satisfactory. Winsford Private is a source and symbol of academic and moral excellence."The zeal of the Lord will perform it".
