Datus International College (DIC) is a wing of Datus International School, a leading, independent, private, not-for-profit co-educational College. It is accredited by the government of Ghana. The DIC focuses on the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) developed by the University of Cambridge International Examinations in 1985.
It is located within Accra and Tema environs and has a long track record of academic excellence. Datus International School was established in 1962. The school is also a fully accredited member of the Independent Association Prep Schools (IAPS), the Society of Headmasters and Headmistress of Independent School (SHMIS), Independent School Examination Board (ISEB), The Society of Assistant Teachers in Preparatory Schools (SATIPS) which supplies us with all updates on curriculum and exams, the UK Department of Education and Science, The British Canadian International Education (BCIE) and many other educational Institutions and national bodies.
DIC consisting of day and boarding students, accepts qualified Ghanaians and international pupils/students in nursery school through grade 12,. Applicants are to pick admission form from the admission desk in the school's reception or download and complete an online application form.
The completed form, two passport size photographs, a certified photocopy of birth certificate or passport, recent report cards and testimonial from previous school to be submitted at the schools administrative office.
Prospective students are to undergo an assessment and evaluation process: Examination in Mathematics, English Language and Science are prerequisite; Interview sessions are also held. Successful applicants are given admission into the grade or the year applied for; they also undertake medical examination certified by a recognised medical officer and then an admission registration contract is signed.
