Kingsmead College provides an affordable educational services in a conducive and secured learning environment with technological driven learning system managed by highly competent and committed educators. Kingsmead College runs a hybrid of the national curriculum,the West African curriculum, and the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations curriculum, administered by the National Examinations Council (NECO), the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), and the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, respectively. Besides, it concurrently prepares interested students for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the international version of GCSE, administered by Cambridge International Examinations, SAT and TOEFL, which give students the needed exposure to compete favourably with their counterparts anywhere in the world.

Hence, Kingsmead Elementary School sprang up like a knight shining armour on 1st August, 2016 with a mindset to make a difference, redefine quality education and set a new paradigm in the delivery of world-class educational services. Located at 9, Hon. N. S. Sholaja Street, off Erunwen Road, the School overlooks Awolowo Road and its surrounding features which gives a view of the scenic beauty of nature in the neighbourhood. In pursuit of our noble educational objectives, Kingsmead College, which is located at 6-8, Kingsmead Street, off Erunwen Road, was established in July, 2017 to provide qualitative educational opportunity for increasing number of primary school leavers within and outside Nigeria who desire academic excellence. It is a purpose – built college and is located in a serene and conducive environment devoid of distractions of a bustling city life. It is focused on students’ needs for proper learning and sound upbringing. It has supporting standard facilities and staff with passion for human development. The idea that resulted in the establishment of Kingsmead College, Ikorodu was based on the demand of the parents of Kingsmead Primary School(The Elementary wing of the Kingsmead Educational Trust) and the immediate community for a sound secondary education comparable with what is obtained in the global Educational community. More importantly, it came as a result of an objective assessment of the future education needs of the Nigerian State. Kingsmead College, Ikorodu opened its doors for academic activities in July, 2017. All necessary facilities required for a fulfilling basic and secondary education have been in place prior to the opening ceremony. Our pupils and students constitute our centrepiece and our approach is the recognition of each child’s uniqueness and helping them to develop their innate skills for cognitive growth, psychomotor development, advanced emotional intelligence and consequently, self-realization. Our approach is to train our trainers until they become trainers’ trainers. We run a hybrid of the Nigerian and the British curricula with our pre-school section thriving on the Montessori Method of teaching. In our elementary and secondary section, the role of the Class Teacher is supervisory. Our new air-conditioned buses, trained drivers and their assistants make the journey to and from Kingsmead Schools a daily delight. Besides engaging a renowned security firm for its professional services, we monitor everything going on in every classroom and the premises with CCTV cameras.
