Innovative International Schools comprising Creche, Nursery, Primary, Secondary and Vocational arms, was established in August, 2002 by Pastor G.A. Oladejobi Esq. ,to provide affordable education for the underprivileged people of the densely populated Karu Local Government Area popularly known as “the gate way of Abuja” a distance of about twelve minutes drive to the nation’s Capital Abuja. It is a fast growing community with a land mass of about 1,325 Sq Kilometers It has an estimated population of 4,200,000. Academy Associates Peace work stated in its December 2002 Newsletter that the area has an annual growth rate of 40%, making it one of the fastest growing settlements in the world. The population density of the area stands at 3, 170 people per square kilometer and this creates Physical and Social problems.
